French songstress Laetitia Sadier released Silencio, her
second solo album since the days ofStereolab and Monade,
last week on Drag City. This week she shares with you "The Rule of
the Game" video, directed by Monade's Marie Merlet and premiered
yesterday via The FADER. As described by The
FADER, "the video features synchronized swimmers and a bathing Sadier
in a red swimming cap-hints of a socialist alternative, with all working
together on a budget, but only subtly. It's provocative but, like Sadier's
voice, soothing." Catch Laetitia and her band live all over North America
next month.
