Formed in 2008, they released their debut full-length album, "Best Kind of Mess," on July 12, 2011, which debuted at #21 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. They also have two EP's, "Cheap Tricks and Theatrics" and the "Get Scared" EP. Now with their new EP "Built For Blame, Laced With Shame", the band has recently announced a supporting US Tour kicking off September 12th in Tucson, Arizona supporting Dead Rabbits.

The band partnered with famed producer Erik Ron, known for his work with Panic At The Disco, I The Mighty, Versaemerge and more, who not only produced the album but will distribute it on his own label, Grey Area Records. "We quickly all became family, it was natural and it felt so much more personal to be with Erik and the Grey Area team," says singer Joel Faviere.

"Get Scared have a new leader that has an excellent voice. Like a cross between Alex Roy (Sparks the Rescue) and Craig Owens (Chiodos), Joel Faviere really steals the show with his soaring cleans and occasional frantic bursts."
- Lexington Music Press Magazine.

"Get Scared's Built For Blame, Laced For Shame showcases that hard rock sound with vocals that can carry a melody, so fans of Tokio Hotel and Black Veil Brides (minus the makeup) can look forward to checking out Built For Blame, Laced For Shame when it drops August 28th on Grey Area Records." - Golden Mixtape.

Get Scared released "Built For Blame, Laced With Shame" today, August 28h.
