Mary’s Voice, the follow up to 2008’s acclaimed Music Tapes for Clouds and Tornadoesinaugurates a newly active phase in The Music Tapes’ evolution—with plans to tour the world in a circus tent later this year. To achieve these goals, The Music Tapes launched a Kickstarter page earlier this week to great response! The Kickstarter levels include autographed pillow cases, telephone concerts, and even the banjo that Julian used while recording Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. Beginning with a goal of $5000, they have already raised over $13,000!
