NO Release What's Your Name / Eleven Eleven 7" on White Iris Records

Indie rock quintet NO releases What's Your Name / Eleven Eleven 7"  today on White Iris (Best Coast, FIDLAR, Guards, Fool's Gold). Outstanding vocals paired with a sound full of meaning and purpose, these tracks hit home and stay with you. Dubbing themselves "Post-Hymnal Anthematic," their sound stems from the desire to collectively sing and yell while driving others to do the same.

'What's Your Name', the A-Side on this release, is a beautifully ethereal track that offers a modern twist on the classic New Wave sound. As subtle as the whistles during the bridge, there is something behind the dark fuzzed-out guitars on this track that gives it an uplifting feel. This blending of tones makes for a truly unique song that is nothing if not infectious. 'Eleven Eleven' presents the counterbalance to 'What's Your Name'. With dark synths and commanding vocals featured prominently on this track, it almost calls to mind Interpol in their prime without losing NO's signature sound.

NO began in Echo Park as a home recording project in July 2011. In a small house on Mohawk Street a group of friends began building something to represent their collective ethos of searching for the more authentic elements in music and in themselves. The band will be touring this fall including a date with Best Coast at the Santa Monica Pier before hitting the road supporting Electric Guest this October. Full list of tour dates are below.
