MELDRUM: Upcoming Album ''LIFER''

Cover500px.jpg

The latest single, 'BLACKENED BLUE' from the multinational hard rock/metal band MELDRUM is available now on iTunes'BLACKENED BLUE' is the second single from MELDRUM's long awaited third album LIFER due out this fall via REVERSED RECORDS.

The band recently gave fans their first taste of new music since 2007's BLOWIN UP THE MACHINE with the release of the debut single from LIFER, 'A TOAST TO ROMANCE' out now on iTunes. The album was produced by producer/engineer ROB SHALLCROSS (Strapping Young Lad, GWAR, Zimmers Hole, West of Hell) and GENE HOGLAN (Testament, Dethklok, Death, Dark Angel). Check out MELDRUM online here.

MICHELLE MELDRUM passed away at the age of 39 in May 2008. LIFER stands as a proud tribute to MICHELLE and her lifetime commitment to creating and performing music. MICHELLE wrote the material for the album with drummer GENE HOGLAN (Testament, Death, Dark Angel, Dethklok), along with new members bassist/guitarist LAURA CHRISTINE (Warface) and vocalist MICHELE MADDEN (Tourette's). MICHELLE'S untimely demise before any of her guitar tracks for LIFER were able to be laid down led the three remaining members to come together in tribute to her, to honor MICHELLE'S vision of the album, withLAURA CHRISTINE playing the majority of the rhythm and bass guitars, as well as all the leads. Partial proceeds from the album will go to MICHELLE'S son Jake Thomas who she left behind when she passed.

Monster Energy & Idol Rec Announce Line-Up For Fourth Monster Energy Outbreak Tour

Monster Energy and Idol Roc Entertainment have announced the line-up for the 2012 Monster Energy Outbreak Tour.  Headliner Asking Alexandria will be joined by support acts As I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence, Memphis May Fire and Attila.  The line-up secured prompted tour producer Steve Glazer (Idol Roc Entertainment) to share, "Without question this is the strongest lineup we've assembled for Outbreak to date. Each year we promise to grow our brand and it all starts with delivering the fans an undeniable lineup of artists on the rise paired with an affordable ticket price."

Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce stated, "America, we are back, we are excited, we are ready and we are fucking headlining! This is our biggest headlining tour ever and we are bringing with us, the biggest, heaviest and best bands that rock has to offer. This Monster Energy Outbreak Tour is going to be fucking insane, more so especially due to the fact that this is not only going to be our last tour of the year and our last tour in America for quite awhile, but also because this is going to be the last tour on the Reckless and Relentless album cycle. We will be playing songs from Stand Up and Scream, Reckless and Relentless and a handful of brand new songs from our upcoming album.  You, North America, have been chosen to hear our new songs before anyone else in the world. Let's make this a tour to fucking remember. Lets end 2012 bigger, better and harder than anywhere else on this earth. We can't wait to see you all. If 2012 really is the end of the world, then all I can say is....we are going out with a bang motherfuckers! We will see you all soon.”

Headliner Asking Alexandria has arrived.  Following a 2011 that saw the band open for the legendary Guns N' Roses, perform in numerous arenas with Avenged Sevenfold, and enjoy sold-out after sold-out headlining show across the U.S., success exponentially exploded in 2012.  The band staged a six week sold-out European headlining tour, which was followed by a North American run with Trivium as direct support this past Spring that drew big numbers.  The band will enter the studio in October prior to the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour to place the finishing touches on their much anticipated third full-length effort.  The disc is set for an early 2013 release. The current album Reckless and Relentless, debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 charts scanning an impressive 31,449 units, marking the biggest first week sales for any artist in the history of Sumerian Records.

The full itinerary will be announced September 7.

Don't miss Agent Ribbons new video for "Family Haircut" - Let Them Talk is out September 11th on Antenna Farm Records with full US tour to follow

Agent Ribbons isn't just a band--it's a tree house club of post-feminist dreamers trying to find their place in the scheme of things, like a hand-sewn and lovingly-crafted garment in a modern, disposable world. Listening to everything from Eartha Kitt to the Velvet Underground and taking notes from bands like the Shaggs, the Boswell Sisters and the Zombies, they miraculously reconcile seemingly-unrelated genres, sounding something like Girls in the Garage doing the Three Penny Opera. Waxing sentimental over the eerie beauty of all things lost to time, the emphasis is undoubtedly in the lyrics, which favor clever turns of phrase and occasional humor, but never at the expense of the melodic integrity of their catchy, memorable songs.

Originally hailing from the shanty-Victorian streets of downtown Sacramento, Agent Ribbons moved to Austin, TX in 2010, their new home base when they aren't traveling the world and jamming econo. After a brief expansion to a 3 piece for the recording of their second album that year, the band quickly returned to their original two-piece lineup of Natalie Ribbons: Guitar & Vocals and Lauren Ribbons: Drums & Vocals. All the better to catch crowds off-guard with their live rawness, with the band bringing both an honest minimalism and unapologetic theatricality to their live shows.

Their new EP, Let Them Talk, serves as a teaser to a third full-length LP, coming in 2013. Let Them Talk is a return to the band's rawer early recordings, with classic Spector-esque stacked girl-group harmonies balancing on top of a raucous rock foundation. Standout track Family Haircut rides a complex and dark minor key melody before riding out on a triumphant harmony line, while the nonchalant opening line of Let Them Talk ("I wanted to keep your baby but I couldn't look away from the thing that held my gaze") shows the band hasn't lost their taste for black humor.

Let Them Talk releases on September 11th 2012 via Antenna Farm Records as a 5 song digital EP and limited run 3 song 7" featuring a bonus cut not on the digital version. Cassette fans can also find the songs via Portland's Cassingle And Loving It, who are releasing the EP under the title Family Haircut in an instantly collectable run of 300 cassettes.

"It's nice to know that Agent Ribbons are out there being enchanting and shit." VICE

"[Family Haircut] showcases Natalie and Lauren Ribbons’ distinct sound that’s driven by only a guitar and drum set. Through this setup, the girls are able to create eerie stories that draw in listeners—all in the nice package of a pop song." PASTE

THE SPEEDBUMPS TO PERFORM WITH THE CANTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Pairing rock bands with symphony orchestras is nothing new.  The Moody Blues were one of the first to do so in the ‘60’s, and bands have been adding string arrangements in various formats for years.  But seeing a local band do it with their local symphony is not an everyday occurrence.  And that’s exactly what Kent band The Speedbumps will be doing when they take the stage for one night only with the Canton Symphony Orchestra at the Canton Palace Theatre, 605 Market Avenue, North in Canton, on Friday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. to present a contemporary collaboration of their award winning songs (with special guest Ashley Brooke Toussant). Recognized as a fast rising star on the national music scene, The Speedbumps incorporate a combination of hollow-bodied instruments like cello, upright bass, ukulele, and acoustic guitar to create an eclectic but approachable sound, perfect for blending with a full orchestra.

The idea was hatched when the Symphony’s Executive Director, Michelle Mullaly, saw The Speedbumps at Panini’s in Canton.  “It was actually my husband's idea,” said Mullaly.  “We were listening to them play at Panini's in Canton and he said, ‘You know, these guys would be great with the symphony.’” That put the idea in my head. I'm so excited to have them perform with us.”

Mullaly says the Symphony musicians are excited as well.  “They think it's so cool and original and they're glad to see us thinking outside the box,” she said.

The band is also looking forward to the show.  “As a songwriter, having the opportunity to bring my songs to life like this is something I never thought I would be able to do, said singer and songwriter Erik Urycki.  “It humbles me that the band is going to get to experience this.” Urycki added that his bassist, Kevin Martinez, arranged the music to synch with the symphony.  “To perform your own songs with a high caliber orchestra such as the Canton Symphony is a once in a lifetime opportunity, said Martinez.  “To be the one who arranges those songs for the orchestra is undoubtedly the highlight of my career."

Tickets are available by calling the Symphony Box Office at 330-452-2094; ordering online atwww.cantonsymphony.org; in person at the Box Office in the Cultural Center for the Arts at 1001 Market Ave. N - Canton weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; or at the Canton Palace Theatre box office one hour prior to the performance. Prices are $18, $24 and $28. A $5 discount is available for seniors & students.  There will be a post-show party as well, and $10 tickets for that (includes beer, wine and appetizers) will be available for purchase along with show tickets.

The Speedbumps are dedicating the performance to the memory of Joe Hawkins, the dad of drummer Patrick Hawkins, who passed away suddenly this past January.  The elder Hawkins had long been a part of the Canton community.  “He really thrived on Catholic education for us kids and he always gave back to the community,” said Patrick.  “He was part of the Ex-Newsboys of Canton; The Men’s Club of Our Lady of Peace School; and The Knightliners of St. Thomas Aquinas. My father was a big city guy (originally from Brooklyn, New York) who came to the small town of Canton and fell in love with the city and community. He loved it so much that he wanted to raise a family and spend the rest of his life there. Big Joe was loved by all and made a lasting impression to anyone who had met him. I think he would be very proud of me and the Bumps for performing with the CSO.”

About The Speedbumps
Maintaining a high level of instrumentation and honest songwriting, the Speedbumps incorporate a combination of hollow-bodied instruments like cello, upright bass, ukulele, and acoustic guitar to create an eclectic but approachable sound. The band’s intelligent yet organic feel has given them the opportunity to perform with Amos Lee, Matt Nathanson, OKGO, Chrissie Hynde and Andrew Bird, in addition to selection at the One Movement For Music Festival (OMFM) in Perth, Australia.  The band’s latest album “The Moon Is Down” has received acclaim from some of the music industry’s brightest tastemakers. Erin Gellert of Q Prime Music (The Black Keys, Nickelcreek, Joshua Radin) said, “In the era of auto-tune and single-based artists, the Speedbumps give you a reason to believe in the album again. Organic, brilliant, emotive music.”

About The Eric Andre Show
Currently in its first season on Adult Swim, The Eric Andre Show may be the most manic and unorthodox late night talk show ever made. The show's traditional talk show format quickly devolves into chaos as its inept and bipolar host Eric Andre, along with his apathetic co-host Hannibal Buress (30 RockSNL), subvert all late-night conventions. Taking place on a dingy public-access TV channel within an alternate reality, The Eric Andre Show creates its own distorted pop culture universe by conducting interviews with an unpredictable mix of actual celebrities, "fake" celebrities and extreme real-life weirdos. These interviews are broken up with deranged man-on-the-street segments, surreal flashes of inexplicable studio chaos, talk show desk-pieces and the general deconstruction of late night's most beloved tropes in every quarter hour episode.

The Eric Andre Show, produced by Abso Lutely and Executive Produced by Eric Andre, Daniel Weidenfeld (China, IL), Dave Kneebone (Tim & Eric Awesome ShowGreat Job!), Andrew Barchilon, and Kitao Sakurai, airs every Sunday at 12:30am (ET/PT) on Adult Swim.

Ball Of Flame Shoot Fire share 2nd single in advance of new LP; playing Cake Shop 9/7!

NEW MP3 : Ball Of Flame Shoot Fire - "The Curse"

Playing NYC's Cake Shop, Thursday, September 7th!

Photo: Noel McGuinness

The wonderful Ball Of Flame Shoot Fire will be at the Cake Shop Thursday, September 6th.  The show starts at 8PM, with BOFSF going on 2nd.  The impressive lineup also features Miniboone, I'm Turning Into and The Meaning Of Life.

Ball of Flame Shoot Fire was formed in 2006 by five high school friends from Pittsburgh, PA. Jess, Tim, Peter, Pat and Winston played music together throughout high school in various formations, including the now-defunct outfits Person and the People, 1½% and Jawmonster. Though initially conceived of as a “family band” collective that would exist only between college semesters, it quickly turned into a serious collaboration that has been going strong for the past seven years. After graduating, Ball of Flame Shoot Fire left Pennsylvania in the interest of living in a house together and performing in New York City. They first settled in a five-bedroom house in Huntington, Long Island and a year later moved into an abandoned funeral home in Brooklyn.

For the recording of their new album, the aptly titled Zileur (Mi-Mi-Mo-Mo), BOFSF built up a fully functional home studio in an effort to reflect the live sound of the band as accurately as possible. It is an unusually organic-sounding record for the band, marking a shift away from the dense, electronics-heavy studio-based experiments of their 2011 album Pots and Knives. It is the most cohesive and personal album the band has yet released and reflects a newfound interest in writing more pared-down, lyrically-driven songs, as well as capturing more spontaneous performances. The influences of mentors such as Van Dyke Parks, Lindsey Buckingham and John Prine should be apparent. Above all, Zileur (Mi-Mi-Mo-Mo) is a record which should offer something for everyone. Despite its stylistic contrasts, it maintains a consistent and engrossing mood throughout, one which allows the listener to be rewarded by repeated listens.

Ball of Flame has released three LPs, two EPs, a soundtrack album and various covers, easy listening and comedy recordings. They also participate in Brooklyn performance art projects Itchy Boys and Rapolon and the Rapalongs, and collaborate with their friends at film production company Astrolab Films. Since their formation, Ball of Flame has gotten the opportunity to share the stage with acts like Grizzly Bear, Yeasayer, Man Man, Mates of State and Here We Go Magic. In 2010 the L Magazine named them one of the “Top 8 Bands to Watch” in New York City.

“Ball of Flame, as we will hereby forever call them, make songs that sound slightly familiar but mostly strange…. overlapping mini orchestras of guitar, organ, trumpet, saxophone, upright bass, electronic samples and everything else under the sun. But there's a dogged devotion to melody too… With so many cooks in the kitchen (all five members live together, putting in time as songwriters), it's clear that they're a band with lots of ideas. They just happen to also be really good at turning them into interesting, unpredictable songs.” –The L Magazine

"Jokeland is crazy and fun and smart and interesting, and I really hope enough people can stomach its beautiful weirdness long enough to dig in and really appreciate it. Stuff like this doesn't come around everyday."   -Fear of Arthropods

“Since Pots and Knives is so crazily diverse, each listener is going to have their own favorite tracks. It’s not often you can say this about an experimental album, but Pots and Knives has something for everyone, and something for every occasion. There are songs to cook to, songs to mellow out to, songs to dance to, and songs where it’s really best to sit back and just listen.” –bestnewbands.com

“The Brooklyn via Pittsburgh band Ball of Flame Shoot Fire make some of the best, most unclassifiable, and quirkiest art-pop.” –Atlas and the Anchor

SAMOTHRACE Forced To Withdraw From East Coast Tour

Seattle doom quartet SAMOTHRACE have just issued a statement on their unfortunate but necessary withdrawal from the pending East Coast tour with Pallbearer and Royal Thunder, set to embark in just one week:

"Samothrace is very sorry to announce that we will have to cancel our part on the upcoming tour with Pallbearer and Royal Thunder due to an immediate illness in the family of a band member. The most important thing right now is family. We are stoked to have had the opportunity to do the tour and will be planning to make our way out east in the near future. We appreciate the understanding."

SAMOTHRACE just wrapped up a five-city West Coast tour last week in support of their acclaimed sophomore LP Reverence To Stone, released via 20 Buck Spin at the end of July. The album was recorded at Soundhouse Studios in Seattle with producer Brandon Fitzsimmons (ex-Wormwood) and mastered atEarhammer by Greg Wilkinson (Brainoil, Graves At Sea).

Reverence To Stone is still streaming in its entirety VIA PITCHFORK.

Review copies of Reverence To Stone and interviews with SAMOTHRACE via phone or email are available worldwide now via Earsplit PR.

"...Samothrace position themselves on a weird axis between Sabbathian doom worship and psychedelic freak-out sludge (á la Cough or Rwake), along with an Isis-esque rhythmic complexity and molten tempo. 8/10" - Decibel

"...the second full-length from Seattle quartet Samothrace for 20 Buck Spin comprises only two tracks, but they're diverse and dynamic enough to prove that the breadth of doom is wider than a stylistic rut." - Pitchfork

"There is emotional comfort to be found in mutual despair, and there is no doubt that Reverence To Stone is a masterwork of shared woe. 4/5" - About.com

"A vital, forward-thinking entity in the ever-backwards and retrograde world of sludge, Samothrace are an absolute treasure. 8/10" - Blistering

"While there are a lot of bands working with a similar aesthetic palette, nobody sounds like Samothrace." - RVA Mag

Comments vocalist Vladibeer Reebs: “With Serpent, we were five guys with some ideas. Now we're a cohesive unit with an agenda. You can feel the energy, hate, and anger in the tracks on Book Of The Worm. In the end, whether it's Serpent, Book of the Worm, or any future album, it's all gonna be Fuckin' Metal! That's all we know. That's all we do. That's all we are.”

The band, who are currently seeking a proper label home, recently posted some new music in the form of “Awakening Blasphemous Abominations.” Taste the evil HERE.

In the meantime, HOD will bring their apocalyptic hymnals to the stage for a short run of rituals beginning September 7 when they’ll  sear souls alongside progressive thrash metallers Vektor (and others) in San Antonio. Later that month, HOD will play the Building Temples From Death Fest II in Houston featuring an unholy lineup of Disgorge, Putrid Pile, Dehumanized, Embalmer and over a dozen MORE. In October, the band will open for Skeletonwitch in San Antonio before embarking on a five-date road trip with Canadian black metal horde, Panzerfaust.

Essential Cuts FREE w/ Reckon Pre-Order,
2-Disc Set Drops 9/25 via Arts & Crafts

Political. Personal. Poetic. Such is the new album Reckon from one of Canada’s most renowned songwriters, Jason Collett. Produced by Howie Beck the album includes guest appearances by Afie Jurvanen (Bahamas), Basia BulatKevin Drew & Zeus. Curated by Jason himself, Essential Cuts, is an eleven  song career-spanning retrospective containing two previously unreleased b-sides available gratis with theReckon pre-order. The 2-disc set will be released September 25th via Arts & Crafts.

Download brand new Reckon album track “Where Things Go Wrong” where it premiered with Rolling Stone or HERE.

There is a poetic serendipity to the fact that Jason Collett started recording Reckonduring the same month that Occupy Wall Street began. Not necessarily setting out to make a record with these overtones, his travels and political engagements lead to the subject matter being unavoidable. “The consistent thread throughout this record is loss,” he explains. “The love songs are largely emotive reflections of the ‘political’ songs. All written through the distillation of events since the economic calamity of 2008 and it’s insidiously long looming shadow. Calling it Reckon is an acknowledgement of loss ... lost jobs, lost homes, loss of faith in our political and financial institutions and in turn, loss of illusion.”

Essential Cuts is more or less a family affair featuring everyone from Amy Millan (Stars), Zeus, Feist, Emily Haines (Metric), Bahamas and more as well as production from long time friends Andrew Cash & Howie Beck. Be sure to catch Jason Collett LIVE on tour this October!

The Fresh & Onlys premiere "Presence of Mind" music video, directed by Dawn Carol Garcia

Today The Fresh & Onlys share a video for "Presence of Mind" from their upcoming LP, directed by Dawn Carol Garcia.  The band just announced a full North American tour in support of the album, Long Slow Dance, due Sept. 4th on Mexican Summer. The band will be joined on the tour by Terry Malts, Grass Widow and Quilt. Check out a sneak peek of a forthcoming documentary on the making of the album here. Also the whole album is streaming now via the Hype Machine.

Long Slow Dance, The Fresh & Onlys' fourth highly anticipated album, brings a great new shapeshifting sound. This thing's a breakthrough; the band are joyous, confident--almost dangerous. It's due in North America on Sept. 4 on Mexican Summer.

"LSD" is a mature, anthemic and-in subtle ways-pretty weird album teaming with Morricone-esque flourishes and seemingly disparate genre elements. "We spent more time recording this than we had on records in the past," bassist and co-founder Shayde Sartin says.

"Phil Manley certainly had a good influence on us in the studio; he's very meticulous with the kind of sound he's trying to get for each song, and the record definitely has its own vibe," he says.

Recorded on the same reel-to-reel that the influential Warren Zevon did "Werewolves of London," these instantly compelling songs demand multiple listens. It's both the San Francisco act's most cohesive work to date and a sprawling selection of stoner-anthems.

Woods announces Fall tour

 Cover art for Bend Beyond

"For their seventh album, Bend Beyond, Woods got dark. It's not that they weren't dark before-when you really get in there and listen, Jeremy Earl is singing about some heavy stuff, but it's hidden under his gorgeous falsetto and sometimes obtuse lyrics. On Bend Beyond, though, Earl and company fully embrace that darkness. Album opener "Bend Beyond," has long been a jammy live staple, but here it's compact and tight with a stuttered guitar line and a world-ending collision of instruments. Meanwhile "Is It Honest" jangles along happily until you notice Earl is in a more destructive zone than the bright music initially suggests, singing It's so fucking hard to see as both a form of comfort and an act of despair. Instrumentally, Bend Beyond is certainly the most full Woods record yet, guitars weave and bubble across peppy drumming, but lyrically Earl is at his most direct and spare. While previous albums sounded like they went directly from Earl's brain to tape with minimal outside interference, Bend Beyondis lush and full-bodied, the work of a band in perfect, heavy harmony. Listening to the record as a whole, it feels like the most daring leap Woods has made yet: It captures the band's live intensity, but keeps the intimate sadness that made them so great in the first place."
- Sam Hockley-Smith

VISION DIVINE: Progressive Power Metallers Post New Track From Forthcoming Full-Length

Progressive power metal troupe, VISION DIVINE, recently posted a new track, “Mermaids From Their Moons,” from their forthcoming new full-length. Titled Destination Set To Nowhere, the 11-track concept album is scheduled to drop in North America on September 18, 2012 via Eagle Rock imprint Armoury Records. Featuring founding guitarist/songwriter Olaf Thorsen (Labyrinth) and singer Fabio Lione (Rhapsody, Rhapsody Of Fire, Kamelot live), the band’s seventh studio offering delivers a melting pot of epic metal anthems with a futuristic concept that follows a man’s journey through outer space in a quest to escape the social and political injustices of planet Earth.

In a 4.5/5 rating Metal Underground commended the band for their “beautiful classic progressive elements blended with driving riffs,” Metal Temple applauded VISION DIVINE  for offering “an accessible showcase of musical prowess and utter creativity to step into what could be in the not so far future,” and crowned the release a candidate for album of the year, while Axis Of Metal notes: “VISION DIVINE really perfect that floating, futuristic atmosphere that bands like Pagan’s Mind, Manticora and Alchemist also feature heavily in their power metal.

Check out “Mermaids From Their Moons,” at THIS LOCATION.

Boys Noize reveals Snoop Dogg collaboration on Out Of The Black (Out 10/16 via BNR) + Electric Zoo

FIRST EVER AMERICAN LIVE TOUR STARTS 11/23
(tour dates + on-sale info below)

BOYS NOIZE is proud to release his third full-length album Out Of The Black on October 16th (Boysnoize Records) in America. The album’s twelve track titles were revealed via Boys Noize’s Twitter. Besides features from Siriusmo and GIZZLE, it includes the highly anticipated collaboration with Snoop Dogg on the album closer “Got It”.

After headlining Electric Zoo’s Sunday School stage, Boys Noize will be back in November performing his first ever American live shows. He'll makes stops in Washington, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, SF, LA and ending it in December with two Texas dates. Please see full date and on-sale info http://boysnoize.com/dates. Earlier, on October 6th Boys Noize will play his first live performance in Berlin, at the start of an extensive 25-city European live tour.

Boys Noize’s first single in 3 years, "XTC" and the accompanying MMM Remix, of his third album Out Of The Black is released and available now. Complex Magazinepremiered "XTC", calling it "ridiculously catchy".  The first rousing album track “What You Want” was revealed earlier by Rolling Stone.

Alex Ridha - aka Boys Noize - is a Berlin-based producer, DJ and label owner who started producing and DJing at a very early age and is known internationally as a one of the most valued electronic artists (for instance; Independent Music Award in 2010 and named Best Electronic Artist 3 consecutive times by the influential music store Beatport, world’s largest electronic music community).

The new album perfectly bridges the gap between his previous two efforts Oi Oi Oi andPOWER; providing the requisite in-your-face electro bang of classic Boys Noize on tracks like “What You Want”, “Rocky 2” and “XTC”, or more melodic songs like "Ich R U“ and“Reality“. At a time when mainstream electronic music, particularly the pervasive cultures of EDM and dubstep, have moved dance music out of the clubs and into the stadiums, Ridha is quick to acknowledge the old school house and acid records that shaped him as a DJ; the very same records that continue to bubble up as an influence on Out Of The Black.

Alex Ridha is at the heart of Boysnoize Records and BNR Trax that involves a roster of over 100 releases by more than a dozen different artists (Spank Rock, The Faint, Mixhell, Strip Steve, Housemeister and 17-year old SCNTST etc). Along releasing two long players Oi Oi Oi and POWER with contemporary anthems "&Down," "Don't Believe The Hype" and "Jeffer" he's had numerous releases with Mr. Oizo (aka Handbraekes), Erol Alkan, Jarvis Cocker and more.

Boys Noize has been on the forefront of remixing indie artists like Feist’s “My Moon, My Man,” long before it was a custom to remix non-dance tracks. Other remixes range from the likes of David Lynch, N.E.R.D, Depeche Mode, Snoop Dogg, Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers to name a few. Having worked with Scissor Sisters, Gonzales, Spank Rock, Santigold and Kelis, the highly sought after producer, is ready to show the world his best work to date.

“…main stage closer Boys Noize had no problems bringing the beat. The German producer and DJ eschewed the skeletal buzzsaw electro of his albums for a set of throbbing techno and house that trampled straight ahead unceasingly for an hour, leaving its recipients breathless and dazed as they headed to the exits.”
– Rolling Stone
