Grabass Charlestons Announce New Album "Dale & The Careeners" Out October 23rd on No Idea Records

Following their split releases with The Ergs, Toys That Kill and The Arrivals, Gainesville punk quartet Grabass Charlestons have announced details of their upcoming new album "Dale & The Careeners" out October 23rd on No Idea Records.

In support of the rollicking new album, which brings to mind The Arrivals, Reigning Sound, and The Replacements, and features newest member and drummer Ryan Quinney (Holopaw / Fiya), the band is announcing a series of dates around the Southeast, including their second annual Nae Day benefit show (where the band will be selling a limited edition test pressing of the upcoming release, www.lynnae.org/nae-day).

Says bassist Dave Drobach, "This album is 12 of the 18 songs we wrote and recorded since our previous record. When Ryan joined, we had been playing a handful of these songs. He learned them and Will kept charging forward with new material. Dale & The Careeners is a long time coming. Nothing was rushed. We worked on the record until it was done. Now it's ready, and we can't wait to share it."

* Recorded at Black Bear Studios in Gainesville, FL by Ryan Williams and Matt Finch.
