BIG EYES Debut New Track on Alt Press Website, Announce Spring Tour Dates & New Record

Big Eyes originated in New York in 2009 with singer/guitarist Kate Eldridge (Cheeky, Used Kids) and drummer CJ Frederick.  After moving to Seattle in 2011, they recruited bassistChris Costalupes, and became a full-time band, using Seattle as a hub for their rigorous touring schedule.  "Back from the Moon" is the band's follow up to 2011's acclaimed Hard Lifefull-length on New Jersey's Don Giovanni Records (Screaming Females, The Ergs!, Laura Stevenson and the Cans).  With big, poppy riffs and catchy choruses, the East Coast roots of Big Eyes shine through alongside a healthy dose of grit, attitude and tons of energy.  With influences ranging from Cheap Trick and Alice Cooper to The Ramones,Descendents, and The Muffs, fans of these aforementioned bands will all find something to like here.
