As soon as Bad Cop formed on a hot sweaty Nashville afternoon in 2009, they hit the road. They’ve spent the past two years shaking up the East Coast, from Louisiana to NYC, wreaking havoc in the Midwest, and even ending up sneaking into Canada for Pop Montreal. These young Nashvillians only slowed down for a quick breather to record their debut album Harvest the Beast, which quickly made it to several Best of 2010 lists. The album, out now on historic NYC label ROIR, is clearly the creation of a band that doesn’t slow down; it’s a guttural wall of sound that penetrates you in a way that could only be from the dirty south.
Now a little older (just old enough to drink), and a little wiser, Adam and a fresh new crew consisting of Mikey Owen, Mikey Frazier and Michael Danger headed back into the studio to record a limited edition 7" for the new label, PRINCE COOK, which will be released in 2012.
The free, 6-pack digital (three songs/three vdeos) EP, 'I Can't Slow Down' is released November 22nd.
