R.E.M. * Tegan and Sara * Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.

R.E.M. release their final album R.E.M., Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982 - 2011 today.  The album is a 40-song career-spanning retrospective that for the first time ever collects songs from R.E.M.'s entire back catalog, including the band's early years on the IRS label in addition to their Warner Bros. Records catalog, as well as three new songs.  The band reflected on their storied career in an interview with CNN that aired this past weekend.

Tegan and Sara release a special DVD/CD package today.  Get Along is a collection of three films and a live album that offers viewers a rare and intimate look into the lives of widely celebrated songwriters, performers, and musicians Tegan and Sara Quin.  Tegan and Sara are currently out hosting screenings of the three films in select cities.  In lieu of the live album, Spin caught up with T&S to get some tips for OCD, wrinkle-free touring and Rolling Stone has the Get Along live video of "Call It Off"

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. release a remix EP today, My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt. 2, featuring remixes by Memory Tapes, Tiger & Woods, Pictureplane and more.  My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt. 2 features tracks from their acclaimed debut LP,  It's A Corporate World, which made Filter's "Top 20 Records of 2011 (So Far..)" and the NPR Listeners Poll as "Best Of The Year."  Their breezy single "Simple Girl" has received noteworthy attention on Triple A radio stations from NYC's WFUV and Philadelphia's WXPN to Boston's WXRV.
