Adam Lambert and Steve Cooke "Paramount Sessions" at Hollywood Music in Media Awards

Album available December 6

Steve Cooke's been nominated for his two singles "Radio" & "Gravity" from the double album "The Paramount Sessions", which also features tracks from Grammy nominated singer Adam Lambert.
The Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA's) recognizes and honors the music of artists from around the globe for their compositions and recordings in all forms of media. http://www.hmmawards.org/
This years HMMA is recognizing Steve Cooke twice, firstly in the "Best Music Video" category for his cover artsingle "RADIO" and secondly for his second single "Gravity" in the "Best Song" AC/AAA category.
In the "RADIO" video, Steve Cooke sings and plays guitar with Adam Lambert band members, guitarist Monte Pittman and bassist Tommy Joe Ratliff. The veteran Heart Breaker Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty) joins the boys on drums.
The nominated Best AC/AAA Song "Gravity" is also accompanied with a music video, featuring the original musicians from the twenty song, Lambert and Cooke epic double album.
Monte Pittman and his fellow Madonna band members, Marcus Brown (Seal/Tina Turner) on bass and Steve Sidelnyk (Seal/Citizen Vein) on drums, joined Steve Cooke in the video production for this second single. Extra riffs and lead breaks are played by Phil X, who is currently touring with Bon Jovi.
"The filming of "Gravity" was a blast and I guess it set us up for the "RADIO" shoot two weeks later. Our concept for "Radio" was to span the generations and I think we achieved that in this video, I'm just so happy that both singles have made it into the awards" said Steve Cooke.
"The Paramount Sessions" has just been released worldwide. It features two discs, one with ten songs from the pre-Idol voice of Adam Lambert and the other disc featuring ten songs sung by Steve Cooke.
This deluxe set combines the two singers with the same author, backing band and production house (Paramount Studios, Hollywood). Here we have power house, soulful vocals from two outstanding singers. It's a twenty song journey, that's packed with power ballads and stories of love and loss.

I love this reissue of "Take 1" with Cooke on the B side. I get this, this writer has composed all of these songs. I was happy to hear some Adam I havent heard before and a much better production and mix than Take 1. It all flows into the 2nd album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG5KmViu6I8

Cooke reminds me of the 70's when music was more of an experience than today. Something Im missing. He has this The Who/Led Zepp approach in his vocal but without stepping on anyones brand. Very refreshing. Adam Lambert is shown in a very different way on this record. More mature, with deeper tones, but also powerful. Great rock/ballad approach from him. Something I guess the midwest in the US and the European market would love to hear! What I especially love are the endings on this record. Very creative.
