Pixies side project The Everybody plot split 7" with Indiana's Stationary Odyssey.

Joey Santiago and David Lovering of the legendary group The Pixies have announced plans to release a split 7" with Indiana band Stationary Odyssey

The side project, dubbed 'The Everybody', is the result of a collaboration with iconic producer and recording engineer Eddie Kramer. The unique outcome is an eclectic instrumental rock project with unorthodox song structures, syncopated rhythms, and sonic experimentation that still manages to somehow remain accessible.

Upon the release of the Everybody album, Evansville, Indiana-based Stationary Odyssey was asked to take one of the tracks and modify it by either re-arranging, remixing, or disassembling it. The result is “Demon Oar”, a song that takes inspiration from the original track “Marooned” as well as ambient soundscapes, movie scores, and traditional rock. The final 7" contains the song “Marooned” by The Everybody and it's modified counterpart “Demon Oar” by Stationary Odyssey.
