The Dear Hunter Release Complete Color Spectrum CD Boxset This Week * On Tour With Manchester Orchestra

AOL SPINNER PREMIERES ACOUSTIC VIDEO TODAY
TOUR WITH MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA CURRENTLY UNDERWAY

The Dear Hunter's loyal fans have spoken. It is because of them that the band is proud to announce the release of "The Complete Collection" package of their critically acclaimed nine-EP collection, The Color Spectrum (Triple Crown Records), which is now available on CD for the first time. The three-CD box set includes a 52-page booklet of lyrics, notes from band mastermind Casey Crescenzo and new artwork, as well as a 90-minute DVD consisting of live and never-before-seen footage of 'the making of' the epic compilation.

The Color Spectrum - originally available online and as a limited edition vinyl package (sold in a wooden box) that quickly sold out - consists of songs inspired by the colors of the spectrum, specifically RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, INDIGO and VIOLET, with WHITE and BLACK being included as well. The collection was written and recorded as Casey traveled across the U.S., documenting every step of the process as he worked with several producers and musicians including Manchester Orchestra, Brendan Brown from The Receiving End of Sirens, Mike Watts (who has worked with As Tall As Lions and mixed the band's Act III: Life And Death), and Steve Haigler (Brand New, As Tall As Lions, Quicksand).

"This project has gone farther than I could have hoped for," exclaims Casey. "I'm proud to be releasing 'The Complete Collection' on CD, along with the DVD detailing my travels across the country, including the  'making of' footage for the EPs. We wanted to make sure the CD box set could live up to the scope of the vinyl box, and with a new large accompanying booklet, as well as all new art design by Cameron Thorne, I feel this has been given more care and love than a standard rerelease."

In addition to the new CD release this week, AOL Spinner has premiered an exclusive acoustic video of Casey performing a cover song  - Pedro The Lion's "Priests and Paramedics.”
The Dear Hunter is currently in the midst of the PacSun "PacTour" with Manchester Orchestra and White Denim. Check them out at any of the following stops:
