Invisible Children Announces Two Holiday Benefit Shows At Los Angeles' Troubadour

Invisible Children is extremely excited to announce that tickets are on sale for their two-night benefit concert at The Troubadour in Los Angeles. Sponsored by The Stash Box, the shows are curated by Pete Wentz, Alternative Press Magazine and Chop Shop Music’s Alexandra Patsavas and will feature some of IC’s biggest supporters from throughout the years.

Tickets are $15 until December and then they go up to $20. Get them quick because this is going to sell out fast!

This fall Invisible Children teamed up with New York and Los Angeles’ The Voice Project in an effort to amplify peace in Central Africa and help end the region’s longest running war through music and radio.

The dual-coast collaboration introduces The Musician Coalition - a dedicated group of artists uniting with their fans to raise $100,000 for a life saving radio network in Central Africa. From folk-indie greats Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, to dance-pop favorites Cobra Starship, musicians from all genres set up individual fundraising goals through an interactive website and work with fans to achieve them. Money raised through The Musician Coalition will support an Early Warning Radio Network which links remote Central African communities through radio broadcasts. These broadcasts encourage child soldiers forced to fight in rebel leader Joseph Kony’s force, the Lord’s Resistance Army, to return home.
