THE LANSKIES - The Latest Offering From The Acclaimed French "Romeos"

BUY ON ITUNES
French born band THE LANSKIES are ready to take over the indie world with their highly anticipated North American debut EP, Romeo, out now via The MuseBox Distribution. The much talked about group fronted by Liverpool born Lewis Evans, made waves at CMJ and Filter’s Culture Collide and are keeping up momentum.
Romeo is an ear catching EP of four tracks of unbelievable hard hitting indie tunes that will surely be one of your favorites for 2011. The standout track “Porno,” will grab your attention and make you excited for what the rest of the album has to offer. For fans of The Futureheads, We Are Scientists, The Kooks, and everything that is cool in music, THE LANSKIES are for you.
Deeming themselves a “Hot Wave,” group (move over New Wave!), the band is a combination of upbeat post-punk anthems and 80’s New York attitude. A force not to be messed with. Meet the leaders of the new Paris-Liverpool rock scene, THE LANSKIES.
The group released their first album Bank Holiday last year and are following up, on November 15th, with the Romeo EP via The MuseBox Distribution.
The band’s first North American trip had everyone talking from MTV Iggy to Paper Magazine. The Deli NYC says “THE LANSKIES have created their own genre of music, le Hot Wave, a sleazy upbeat mix of post-punk anthems combined with the witty French azur of the 80’s New York.” THE LANSKIES are conquering the world. Are you ready to fall in love with these Romeos?
