The video is the third in the series and follows MACHINE HEAD as they record their highly-anticipated new album, Unto The Locust, releasing with Roadrunner Records on September 27th, 2011 in the US. The video also features never-before-heard snippets of new songs! The Grammy nominated, Album of the Decade winning Metal Giants just finished a mainstage stint on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival where they unanimously crushed eager fans daily. Lucky metal maniacs were treated to new song ‘Locust’, coming off of an advance mix the band debuted for the iTunes Festival sampler that to the surprise of many became the #1 most requested at SiriusXM Liquid Metal for three weeks in a row!
The band recently announced their first headlining tour of South America with the legendary Sepultura along for support with dates in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. The tour will surely give rabid South American fans a double-fist punch of unforgettable performances. Sepultura, who will also be in full-on tour mode in support of their newest album Kairos are always devastating live, leaving both bands primed to deliver a set of shows that will be unlike anything South American metal fans ever dared to imagine. November will see MACHINE HEAD headline ‘The Eighth Plague Tour’ who along with Bring Me The Horizon, Devildriver and Darkest Hour will devastate arenas across the UK and Europe and includes the bands first headlining slot at the legendary Webley Arena in London, England in support of Unto The Locust.
