EAST OF THE WALL Present New Track Via NPR; More Fall Tour Dates Confirmed

Today, National Public Radio’s All Things Considered blog is streaming “False Build,” the fourth track from EAST OF THE WALL’s upcoming third full-length, The Apologist. The five-and-a-half-minute track makes it evident that the band’s songwriting is at its strongest to date on this album.

Hear the continually morphing “False Build” now at NPR.

EAST OF THE WALL also released the track “Whiskey Sipper” from the album several weeks ago via MetalSucks.

Recorded by Andrew Schneider at Translator Audio in Brooklyn (Cave In, Pelican, Keelhaul, Unsane, Rosetta), The Apologist surges with nearly fifty minutes of EAST OF THE WALL's trademark challenging progressive metallic prowess, and is approaching release on Octobrer 25th on CD/digital via Translation Loss and for double 12" via Antithetic Records. The CD is available for preorder here and the LP here.

EAST OF THE WALL’s month-long self-booked American tour kicks off in conjunction with the release of The Apologist on October 21st with more shows still being confirmed at this time. The band are still seeking help in some regions so if you can help book a show in one of the noted areas please contact earsplitpr[@]aol.com or band[@]eastofthewall.com.

"Imagine the metallic flourishes of the math-rock band Don Caballero lasting much longer, the bombastic gruff of Botch injected with melody, and some super-tight, jazz-inspired guitar work." - NPR

"... The Apologist is the same but different; the same wonky, jazzy, proggy via post-hardcore East of the Wall-isms that made Ressentiment (and its predecessor Farmer’s Almanac) so endearing, but done in new ways, evolved to the next level, more ambitious." - MetalSucks

"It’s progressive metal in the truest sense of the word. This album is as raw and musically uncompromising as they come." - Alternative Matter
