New MP3 (Cleared to post): Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun - "We Were Wild"

Electronic. Indie. Dance.
Pop. Rock. Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun is all about the
collaborative. It’s about the connections between sound and people, it’s
about the heart and the head. It’s for mistakes and triumphs, and
against arrogance and underconfidence. A band of four: two girls, two
boys. Noisy, dancy, loud, sincere, sweaty, loveable, hardworking.
New MP3 (Cleared to post): Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun - "We Were Wild"
Folks say Today The Moon,
Tomorrow The Sun occupy a strange land, a territory full of noisy chaos
that dances around many perfectly manicured landscapes; other folks have
made up odd sub-genres for them (“Dreamy Disco Punk”, “Bullet-proof
Dance Jams”, and “Indie-Electro-Fuzz-Rock” to name a few.) All of these
rare combinations add up to a sound you can’t quite put your finger on,
but feels warm and comfortable, as if you’ve known it for years.

In August of 2009, Today The
Moon, Tomorrow The Sun quit their full-time careers to book, tour,
record, and get in front of as many people as possible. Since then,
they’ve toured 15-20 dates a month all over the Eastern half of the US,
growing loyal fan bases who continue to spread the word about the band
like wildfire. Though their dwellings are in Atlanta, GA, they call
their 1992 Dodge conversion van home.
After three EPs and endless
touring, it was time to put what they’d become to physical memory: a
record they could be overwhelmingly proud of and their current and
future fans couldn’t stop listening too. That result is WILDFIRE: a 12 song document of perseverance and a homage to their fans (who helped fund the making of WILDFIRE
through a very successful Kickstarter campaign). It’s about changing
the things you want to change and doing the things you want to do. It’s
about refusing to settle and working hard for what you want. It’s about
really seeing your past, present, and future.
“…Yeah,
I praised and praised through this [review]. I know it. However, I dare
you to find anyone else who’s had the pleasure of a sneak peak at WILDFIRE
to say any different. I tried and failed miserably, as the album seems
to be melting hearts from Georgia to Brooklyn.” — Jesi Owens, AltDaily
“WILDFIRE [is] fifty minutes of unrelenting thrills and chills.” — This Week in New York
“Dancy, sweaty, pulsating, atmospheric, frenetic, driving. These are all words I could use to describe WILDFIRE
by Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun, and all of them would fall short.
This isn’t one of those albums you listen to for singles and skip the
rest. There are definitely some catchy sing-a-longs (“We Were Wild” and
“Oh Black Gold” for instance), but for every soaring chorus, there is a
well-balanced and introspective song keeping the contextual weight of
the band intact. “ — Wes Gilliam, WeAretheUpstate
“Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun is one of the biggest things to come out of Atlanta right now." — New York Is Boring
