Introducing John Heart Jackie (and their tour)

Are you familiar with John Heart Jackie? They are a beautiful duo out of Portland who combine aching, heartfelt vocals with uniquely haunting instrumentation for what can best be described as lovely.

In the band's own words: "This band (John Heart Jackie) was birthed from a single conversation. A conversation about the duet.  About the simple and subtle power that comes from one female voice and one male voice, sparingly backed by subtle musical arrangements. We hope to create songs that are universally beautiful; songs that may find their home in the space where people dream, where people fall in love, where people grieve, where people get lost.  Songs that live under the veil of what is good, with the hope that a truly beautiful song can speak to any and everyone. That, with two voices, we can write and perform songs that make it easier to be human."
