Chicago's bizarre experimental hip hop mysticJustinus Primitive releases "Children of the Law of One" via I Had an Accident Records

"Children of the Law of One", the third full length album from Justinus Primitive plays out like some kind of spiritual super hero movie.

Having collaborated last year with the likes of Jookabox (Asthmatic Kitty / Joyful Noise) and Normanoak (Secretly Canadian) Justinus Primitive, aka Kid Primitive Family, spouts a uniquely insane blend of spiritual hip hop drone. With his new album, Justin takes us around the world, performing end of the world rituals, chanting holy names, singing prayers to the divine, ingesting sacred substances and exorcising demons.  The music that propels the story is a homemade construction of magically focused vocal rounds and dark, droning beats.  Taking cues from the hypnotic pulsations of Lungfishand the minimalist ambience of La Monte Young, "Children of the Law of One" is an endlessly fucked up, but strangely listenable sonic experience.

The album is limited to 100 limited edition cassettes via I Had An Accident Records.
