Black Tide posts first "#DareBlackTide" video challenge + UPROAR Festival wrap-up

BLACK TIDE POSTS FIRST “#DAREBLACKTIDE” VIDEO CHALLENGE, ISSUES UPROAR FESTIVAL WRAP-UP
Sophomore album “Post Mortem” feat. “That Fire” out now on DGC/Interscope Records
MIAMI – After collecting dares from fans on Twitter, Miami-based hard rock outfit, Black Tide, has posted the first “#DareBlackTide” video challenge to their website at: http://www.blacktidemusic.com/dare/completed.aspx. Tune in today to see which Black Tide member was lucky enough to draw the first challenge during the band’s recent run on the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink UPRAOR Festival. Fans are encouraged to continue to tweet dares to #dareblacktide for a chance to see Black Tide attempt your challenge from the road.            Black Tide is currently back home for a bit after wrapping up nearly two months on UPROAR 2011, concluding with a rousing performance at the two day 48 Hours Festival in Las Vegas. The massive active rock tour featured genre heavyweights Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, Seether, Escape the Fate and more.  Check out these pics from the Chula Vista stop: http://gbcproductions-blacktiderockstarupr.buzznet.com/user/photos/.            Black Tide drummer, Steven Spence, has issued a statement via the band’s official website at: http://www.blacktidemusic.com/news/default.aspx?nid=36990 in the wake of the group’s summer/fall run on UPROAR.            “I think I can safely say that Uproar has been the best tour of our career so far,” wrote Spence. “Between the friendships we've made, the insane crowds we've performed in front of, and the ridiculous after parties we've hosted, I'd say that this tour is going to leave a long-lasting impression on our lives. The rest of this new touring cycle is going to have a lot to live up to.”
Black Tide will continue to tour throughout the remainder of 2011 in support of its sophomore release, Post Mortem (DGC/Interscope), with a handful of dates with Pennsylvania rock act, Halestorm, already confirmed to kick off late November.            For tour dates and other information on Black Tide, head to the band's official website: www.blacktidemusic.com, Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/blacktide and Twitter: http://twitter.com/blacktide.
