Iceland's Sindri Már Sigfússon or Sin Fang (formerly Sin Fang Bous of Seabear) has debuted a brand new video for "Slowlights," taken from his sophomore album, Summer Echoes, available now on Morr Music. Sin Fang just wrapped up an extensive European tour with solo artist Sóley (also member of Sin Fang and Seabear) including several festival performances and an appearance at Iceland Airwaves this week. Rolling Stone called his work "a psych pop game that's as haunting as it is transfixing," and the incredible video for "Slowlights" sincerely proves that notion true.
Sin Fang set himself the task of playing all of the instruments on his 2009 debut, Clangour, but for this album wanted to move closer to the sound of a live band. He recruited a number of his friends from Múm, Amiina and Seabear to record Summer Echoes in his own studio, as well as Sigur Ros' Sundlaugin Studio. Sin Fang Is now finishing his third full-length album, collaborating with producer Alex Somers (of Jónsi and Alex). The album is scheduled for an early 2012 release on Morr Music.
