Mugen Huso/2416/Delphic Sibyl Coming To Burro Bar 8/13/2012

After you've all picked yourself up from the ground and dusted yourself off following the weekly festivities at Factory, why not head over to Burro Bar this Monday (August 13th) and check out a superlative lineup that is the living incarnation of a seriously overdriven "Shuffle" button. Three bands, NO common thread. Booking insanity.

First up, and closest to Movement's territory, there's Delphic Sibyl, a solo performer with a gothic aesthetic somewhere between Zola Jesus and Dead Can Dance, and the awesome visuals to match (also a member of epic gloomsters Cult Of Youth). Then KA-BLAM, you've got the 2416, fresh off a successful Kickstarter campaign to press up their new album Misanthropic Wanderlust, and they're gonna bring their Who-meets-Today Is The Day pop art attack complete with extra distortion and matching uniforms. And finally the night will go off the rails completely - in the best way possible - with Japanese duo (guitar-vox/drums) Mugen Hoso, one of those soul/punk/spazz outfits that make one question whether America really invented Rock'N'Roll in the first place. Dig that white tie action!

Test your sonic limits and openmindedness! It's good for you!
