Green Label Sound today releases the music video for "Enzymes" by Freelance Whales. "Enzymes" is also available as a free download exclusively at http://www.greenlabelsound.com
The track, 'is a little more abstract lyrically than what we've done and so the video kind of matches that', notes Judah Dadone of Freelance Whales who also adds that this is the only time in his life he'll ever be wearing a cat suit. Chuck Criss, Doris Cellar, Kevin Read and Jake Hyman join in the split performance/narrative video.
Chunwoo Kae and Ryan Demler of Neue Films directed the video for "Enzymes". Known for their work with Surfer Blood, amongst others, the band was attracted to their unique style. Chunwoo used black as a transition element to seamlessly cut between the performance and the narrative storyline, thus creating a surreal, dream-like experience. Hyman adds it is, "definitely [their] fanciest video to date."
