THE ACCUSED Announce New Drummer Band To Unveil New Video

Like a bunch of zombies drunk on embalming fluid, veteran hardcore thrashers THE ACCUSED prepare to take their Splatter-Rock-Speakeasy and After-Hours-Sicko-Sideshow into turbo-nuclear-tombstone-kicking overdrive with the announcement of a new stick-breaker in Warren A. Pease (pronounced "war 'n' peace") Said the band in a collective statement: "He's a relatively young chap at the tender age of 25. Then again, with THE ACCUSED founding guitarist, Tommy Niemeyer rounding the corner heading into half-century territory, who isn't young to that old fucker? Warren, or 'Andy' as he's affectionately referred to most noticeably at first brings his youthful enthusiasm and perpetual grin to THE ACCUSED. But don't let the friendly face fool you into thinking this is some run-of-the-mill, trigger-tapping tom-tom-tickler. No! The young Mr. Pease possesses an absolutely mind-boggling, pile-driving, double-kick drumming style that will make you wonder if he's got extra appendages hidden away back there somewhere. Having the freshly-plucked Warren A. Pease now on drums will up the ante for all who are dealt-in when THE ACCUSED bring their horror-filled freak show to the stage sometime early 2011. The Kings of Splatter Rock are back with a vicious and brutal hardcore attack."

In related news, THE ACCUSED will unleash a new video for "Hemline," the seventh track off The Curse Of Martha Splatterhead, released via Southern Lord Recordings last year. The video is a mini-Splatter epic starring the lovely and terrifying Martha Splatterhead, was shot in three locations from Marysville, Washington to Los Angeles, California and directed by Federico Aragon. A worldwide premiere of "Hemline" will be announced for later this month. Be sure to check the band's website for further instructions!
