Team Clermont Artist of the Week: Murder Mystery

Murder Mystery is here to usher in a new era in feel-good pop. Their upcoming debut album, are you ready for the heartache cause here it comes, is a showcase of their unique talents: meticulously crafted melodies and harmonies, intertwining guitar arrangements, catchy basslines and danceable rock n' roll beats. It's a collection of unpretentious pop gems, so throw in that CD and clear some space to dance.

Murder Mystery began back when a young Jeremy Coleman (vocals, guitar) decided to rock out to a couple of his tunes with his old pal Adam Fels (bass, vocals). Meanwhile, Jeremy's sister Laura (drums, vocals) also wanted to rock. A renowned tap-dancer, she realized that on drums she could tap with all four limbs. They started jamming and sparks flew. Soon, the budding trio decided to expand their sound, informing their guitarist buddy Kevin Jaszek (guitar, vocals) that he was in the band, like it or not. The current lineup of Murder Mystery has worked hard to spread its good vibes, sharing the stage with such stellar acts as The Wrens, Fields, and Girl Talk.
