Washburn Guitars, Randall Amplifiers, and Eden Electronics are excited to present THE DOOMSAYERS TOUR 2008 in conjunction with AMP Magazine and Hot Topic Online, featuring Washington DC’s bad boys of metal, Darkest Hour. Joining them on this jaunt are grind-core titans Cephalic Carnage, label mates Emmure, and Tennessee’s White Chapel.
Darkest Hour’s relentless live show will finally be brought to intimate crowds across the country as vocalist John Henry has brought a new level to the band with their latest release “Deliver Us”. The dual guitar assault of Mike Schleibaum and Kris Norris blends with bassist Paul Brunette’s heavy rhythm while drummer Ryan Parrish violates your ears. Mash these components together along with their blind concern for safety on stage, and you have the recipe of the finest bands in the New Wave Of American Metal, as seen in the heavy metal documentary “Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey”.
"We cant wait to get back on tour and party with everyone in the US again. We are more then stoked to have our good friends in Cephalic Carnage on tour with us, and we couldn’t be more stoked to tour with Emmure and White Chapel for the first time. We are gonna play songs we have never played live for sure so until we see ya in Feb we are gonna be in the lab trying to cook up these jams that have never seen the light of day. Its gonna be a party every night so bring your stage diving, circle pitting, gonna get arrested shoes, were all gonna need them!" promises Schleibaum.
He continues "Darkest Hour is excited to be working with Eden, Washburn, and Randall on this tour. The people at USA Music Corp. make great road ready gear and we are gonna make sure to use and abuse every piece! We are stoked to have found a company that supports the working/touring musician. There are great people over there and its rare in the music biz that you can work with a company that is so artist friendly, so reliable, and most of all full of dudes just like us!"
As “Deliver Us” was released and kicked the Top 200 Billboard Chart door in at the 110th position, Darkest Hour smoked crowds across the US and Canada on the Sounds Of the Underground tour this past summer. The tour hits every corner of the US so do not miss the full power of Darkest Hour, with Cephalic Carnage, Emmure and White Chapel on tour this winter.
