16 FRAMES NEW ARISTA BAND SET FOR RELEASE FEBRUARY 2008!

L.A.-BASED ROCK ACT 16 FRAMES SIGNS WITH ARISTA RECORDS

DEBUT ALBUM SLATED FOR RELEASE FEBRUARY 2008

Track " Let's Not Pretend" to air tonight on MTV's " The Hills " Monday, August 27th

16 Frames, founded by frontman singer/ songwriter Steve Sulikowski has recently signed with Arista Records.

Their self-titled debut album, produced by Matt Serletic is slated for release February 26, 2008. Quickly becoming a favorite with music supervisors, "Let's Not Pretend," a song from their debut album will be featured on Monday, August 27th on MTV's hit show "The Hills." Sulikowski, who penned all of the songs on their forthcoming album comments on the writing process: "With most of my songs, I try to tell a story, but at the same time, I leave the door open for people to fill in the blanks - its meaning can then apply to something very personal to me and to the listener."

After watching "No Direction Home," Scorsese’s documentary on Bob Dylan, Sulikowski began to feel his approach to songwriting evolve. "I started to look at the whole creative process unfolding in a way like a movie.” The process also inspired the meaning of the band’s name, 16 Frames, the lowest frequency at which continuous motion can be perceived. 16 Frames’ future is anything but static with their music already featured on “Men In Trees” and now on the highly anticipated new season of MTV’s “The Hills.” 16 Frames recently completed tour dates opening for Sheryl Crow, Crowded House and Pete Yorn.
