In support of their upcoming debut album titled "Buy American," out September 23rd on Paper + Plastick Records, New Jersey drunk-punk trio The Moms have announced complete details of their upcoming Fall US tour beginning next month.
Taking along friends and Staten Island-based emotional punk troupe Everything Ever, the tour will extend to both coasts, and include stops at this year's coveted punk rock festival, "The Fest," taking place in Gainesville, Florida over the Halloween weekend. In addition, The Moms have announced details of their New Jersey Record Release show and tour kick off event, taking placeOctober 24th at the Whippany VFW where they'll be joined by Forever Losing Sleep, Crosstown Train, Hurricane Season and Everything Ever.
The Moms tread the thin line between shameless idiocy and dark humor, at times seeming to test the boundaries of the first amendment. The trio’s first full length record “Buy American,” is a testament to that fact.
The genre-bending album’s socially charged prose touches upon subjects such as prescription drug abuse, private bomb brokers, joining the navy, and the potential for a better post-apocalyptic U.S.A. With the release of “Buy American,” The Moms will be touring, promoting their loud blend of sweat and satire, as well as a penchant for live performance and drunken debauchery.
It‘s been said that, with their “bonafide rock n’ roll,” "The Moms got steeze.”
