Decibel Magazine's infamous Deciblog portal is hosting an exclusive stream of Society Sucker, the brutally groove-laden new EP from the Wilmington, North Carolina act of the same name, in honor of its parole date today. Alongside the five-song platter of retribution, the write-up of the EP states ofSOCIETY SUCKER's brand new output "is rife with gloriously grimy grooves, rancid earworm riffage, and nasty, nasty straight-from-the-gutter breakdowns."

Following their hometown record release show for the EP several days ago, further tour actions will be plotted and announced over the coming weeks.

Having quickly surged to the forefront of the quickly growing North Carolina hardcore scene since forming only a year ago, SOCIETY SUCKER builds their foundation in the sturdy tradition of acts like Subzero, Next Step Up and Merauder, with a slick and streetwise approach packed with aggro guitar lines, slamming breakdowns and belittling gang chants fans of Trapped Under Ice, Suburban Scum and Incendiary need to get on without hesitation. Society Sucker was recorded in February of this year at The Skylight Studio with Vince Ratti and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and bears bold cover art by Steven Kulesza. SOCIETY SUCKER is a band committed to keeping hardcore hard. This is the proof.
