YOUTH FORGOTTEN Releases Debut Album's Opening Track Via New Noise Magazine
|
Cleveland-based YOUTH FORGOTTEN will uncage their riotous debut full-length, Ghost Of A Fallen Empire, on January 31st as a proudly self-financed DIY production. Unifying former members of Dead Even, Salt The Wound, Above The Fire, Chimaira and Integrity,YOUTH FORGOTTEN forges straightforward, energetic, metal/punk-fueled hardcore with anthems aimed at lethargic, fad-driven acts that pollute the current scene. The most obvious of these outspoken views overthrows the weak right from the start, as the ultra-pissed, double-bass-lined attack packed with gang chants and pummeling riffs, aptly dubbed "Anthem," opens the album. What the fuck is wrong with the scene today? New Noise Magazine holds the answer with a kick in the throat, now playing "Anthem," RIGHT HERE. Blow The Scene also dropped the track "Eyes On The Prize" over HERE. Ghost Of A Fallen Empire will see digital release on January 31st, 2014, with a physical pressing in the planning stages to follow shortly behind. Fueled by a sense of keeping the metal/hardcore movement alive, YOUTH FORGOTTEN's ten-track Ghost Of A Fallen Empire churns out forty-five minutes of furious material, recorded with Rob Arnold of Chimaira, marking his debut as a producer. The day following the digital release of the album, Saturday, February 1st, YOUTH FORGOTTEN will hold a hometown record release party for Ghost Of A Fallen Empire with a ten-band event including Fuck You Pay Me, Teddy Boys, Cholera, Aricebo, Cop Problem and more. Everyone paid through the door gets a special handmade copy of Ghost Of a Fallen Empire made specifically for the show. Additional live actions will be announced soon.
