Lullwater To Tour With RA

LULLWATER TO TOUR WITH RA
Athens, GA Quartet Announces Plans To Hit The Road with
Direct Support Billing On February 27 In Pontiac, IL

Athens, GA -- Lullwater has announced a run with RA that will take the band through the Midwest and up the East Coast with direct support billing.  The excursion commences in Pontiac, IL on February 27, and wraps on March 15 at the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA. For the last several years, the Athens-based quartet has logged countless miles on the highways of the U.S., building an active audience that grows exponentially on an annual basis.  The band plans to commit the majority of 2014 to touring, aiming to make 200 or more appearances mixed between headlining and support plays.

The band recently released their self-titled album on their own Dinobird label. Recorded and produced at London Bridge Studios, Seattle WA (Pearl Jam 10, Soundgarden Louder Than Love), the September 17th offering has seen strong sales and critical acclaim from journalists and industry tastemakers.  Guitar World premiered Lullwater, while the video for the single “Albatross” was picked up for an exclusive debut by Artist Direct.

Lullwater can be defined as a band that offers the convictions of passion, honesty, drive,  and perseverance.  Through integrity, diligence and what is nothing more than a pure connection with those they encounter, the band is reaching the heights of developing a national presence.  This raw, thought provoking rock has placed them on that cusp of garnering that elusive coast to coast notoriety.  Lullwater is John Strickland (Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar), Brett Strickland (Lead Guitar), Roy “Ray” Beatty (Bass) and Joe Wilson (Drums).

The hypnotic, heavy melodies of the godfathers of grunge who immortalized the Pacific Northwestern scene left an indelible mark on music.  The influence continues to impact recordings today, and with Lullwater that influence is clear.  It is the convergence of this inspiration, with a healthy helping of bluesy Southern swagger, that delivers an individual sound.  The band strives to create a movement of change and originality with the fans in an effort to bring sense of community back to music lovers that are dispirited with the state of what is deemed popular in Rock music today.  With LULLWATER, they might just provide that lightning rod that inspires wide congregations of disparate tastes to unite for the simple love of inspired music.
