DIIV, Twin Shadow + GUARDS to play Painted BLACK Act II

DIIV, TWIN SHADOW + GUARDS TO PLAY PAINTED BLACK ACT II IRVING PLAZA, NYC - FEBRUARY 20, 2014

On February 20th, PAINTED BLACK continues with Act II, bringing you another unforgettable night at Irving Plaza. For this show, Matte Projects will be partnering with fashion label Maje, celebrating their new collaboration with K-Way.    Lineup - ACT II DIIV Twin Shadow (DJ) Guards   Each of these performances will be paired with visually stunning interactive shows that have been created collaboratively with the performers and have never been seen before. Beyond a typical concert, PAINTED BLACK is an exploration of a color and a lifestyle through a live experience. In the pursuit of this, the musical acts will be paired with visual artists, stage builders, sculptors, fashion designers, and filmmakers, creating unique pieces to be debuted at the series.  Beyond the collaborations of artist Aerosyn Lex (Nike, Kenzo, Kanye West) and Nathaniel Brown (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Beyonce), MATTE is also announcing a partnership with Parisian fashion label Maje, celebrating their new collaboration with K-Way. Maje will be supporting the series with special performances and providing a unique fashion element to the BLACK series.    WATCH - Recap film from PAINTED BLACK 2013 http://black-nyc.com/       ABOUT MATTE     MATTE is a creative production house focused on creating unique musical experiences for New York's culture and nightlife scene.  Last summer's FULL MOON was attended by over 5,000 of New York's finest.
