NEW TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED
Burbank, CA- Reprise recording artists Cavo continue to burn up the charts on Rock radio with their propulsive debut single "Champagne." After hitting airwaves on April 13th, the track has reached an audience of more than 24 million, scoring 124 radio adds amongst all Rock formats. It has claimed the No. 7 slot on Active Rock, broken into the Top 20 on the Mainstream Rock Chart, and gone Top 40 on the Modern Rock Charts. "Champagne" is also in rotation on SiriusXM's "Octane" playlist.
"Champagne," which had the highest R&R Active Rock chart debut for a new artist since Avenged Sevenfold's "Bat Country" in August 2005, is the first single from Cavo's major-label debut album Bright Nights * Dark Days, which is due from Reprise Records this summer. Produced by David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), the album is a passionate collection of hard-hitting rock-and-roll and keenly felt lyrics.
Cavo, which features singer Casey Walker, guitarist Chris Hobbs, drummer Chad La Roy, and bassist Brian Smith, will hit the road for a series of shows in the Midwest in May. Cavo performed at the Rock on the Range Festival in Columbus, OH, on May 17th and has just announced new tour dates through July.
