Maylene and The Sons Of Disaster Release and Stream New Album, "III," Out Now on Ferret Music!

After much anticipation the time has finally come for monster Southern-rock icons MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER to release their latest opus, "III," today on Ferret Music.

In celebration of the band's most ferocious release to date, they've decided to make the album available to stream in its entirety, courtesy of our good friends and huge Maylene supporters at Decoymusic.com. Stream the new record here: http://www.decoymusic.com/featured_streams/6

What the press is saying:

On "III," Maylene are playing from their big, bursting hearts and forge their own hellacious rawk path. - AOL Noisecreep

Southern hard-rock/metallers Maylene and the Sons of Disaster are back with their latest concoction of swampy, humongous grooves, their third album aptly titled III. This is just straight up, metal-influenced southern hard rock — no gimmicks, no shenanigans, just maximum rockage. - Metal Sucks

With a sound that's further rooted in melody than anything on their previous records (but still maintaining that hard-pumping southern kick that the band have made their forte), Maylene have definitely set their stall out early with this one. - Metal Hammer

It's all good clean fun with guitars that buzz a bit louder and vocals that start off as a rougher version of Lemmy, there's even a few harmonized solos reminiscent of Lynyrd Skynyrd! I think I even heard a vocal harmony that reminded me of Thin Lizzy too! Well done - Way Too Loud

We're never going to be as fierce as southern metalcore wizards Maylene and The Sons of Disaster, but we're going to try by giving you a new song to stream exclusively, "Harvest Moon Hanging," on their AP.net Profile. The track is off the band's upcoming June 23rd release titled III. You might want to hold on. - Absolutepunk

III has a tremendous amount of talent flaunted on it, and you don't have to wait for any particular track to hear it since it is exhibited right from the get go. Big things are definitely in store for Maylene's future. - Decoy
