ROYAL OAK- The Royal Oak Music Theatre and 96.3FM WDVD to welcome home DJ Darren Revell at Reunion, the theatre’s official dance night, Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Doors are 9pm, 21 and over are welcome, tickets are $10.
Host and programmer for 96.3FM WDVD’s Big Sonic Heaven from 1995-2003, Revell is most well known for spinning at numerous Detroit clubs, including Club X, The Shelter, Motor, Industry, City Club, Congress, The Royal Oak Music Theatre and more since the mid 80’s and creating, programming and hosting Club X live on 89X from 1992-1994.
Flying all the way from Hollywood California, Revell will also be joining old friend, DJ Quiq in the night’s festivities. “DJ Quiq and I have spun together a lot in the past and we love to bring new and classic alternative to people who respect it,” comments Revell. “We’re going to be focusing most of what we spin on stuff from the early 90’s and 80’s, sprinkled with some amazing new stuff.”

In addition to Thanksgiving Eve, Revell will be returning to Royal Oak every first Saturday of the month starting in 2008 for Reunion. Dates scheduled for January 5th, February 2nd, March 1st, April 5th, May 3rd, June 7th, July 5th, August 2nd, September 6th, October 4th, November 1st and December 6th. Doors are scheduled for 9pm, 21 and over are welcome and cover is $5.
