FUZZ INTRODUCES DIGITAL MIXTAPE

Mixtapes by Modular Records, The Steady Riot Tour and others on Fuzz.com

ImageSan Francisco, CA- November 6, 2007- Fuzz is excited to announce the creation of the first of its kind 3D commercial application on the internet for music sharing and discovery- the Fuzz Mixtape. Capturing the nostalgic feel of passing around cassettes until the tape wore thin, the Mixtape allows anyone- fans, artists, labels- to distribute their own personalized creations to the masses. The streaming Mixtapes are featured on Fuzz.com with a widget available for placement across the web.

Using a web-based interface known as the Deck-o-rator, users can select songs, choose the type of cassette tape and background from sample templates & write a personalized message in just a few minutes. There is also advanced customization allowing users to pull background images from their own graphics library.

The Fuzz Mixtape is not just for music fans wanting to share their favorite tracks with their friends. Many in the industry are capitalizing on the new technology as a promotional tool. Influential indie label Modular Records has created a compilation from its roster, including New Young Pony Club, Cut Copy and Muscles. Bands on the Steady Riot Tour- Big D and the Kids Table, Whole Wheat Bread, Brain Failure and the A.K.A.s- have created a tour compilation. Zion I, Five Finger Death Punch and many other acts are jumping on board – hundreds of Mixtapes have been created in the past week.

In conjunction with this new feature, Fuzz has also revamped its site with a sleek new design and enhanced usability since it launched in beta in March 2007. These changes are the result of countless hours working alongside bands, labels, industry professionals and fans to capitalize on the benefits of the digital revolution while empowering artists wanting to retain control of their careers.

FUZZ: MUSIC UPRISING

The company has combined a next-generation music label, a powerful artist promotion, e-commerce and management platform and a feature-rich interactive music community at its website www.fuzz.com.

The Fuzz team is composed of musicians, techies, progressive-thinking music industry veterans, broad-minded entrepreneurs and legal and licensing experts. The overall breadth of the team and the cross breeding - where artists are in business roles and internet innovators are informing the label strategy - ensures innovative thinking and the elimination of obsolete business practices. The robust music platform speaks to musicians, consumers and the internet music community at large.

Fuzz’s groundbreaking model offers up its services to everyone allowing them to promote, stream and sell their music online and connect directly with their fans. Unlike other music-based websites, Fuzz takes it several steps further by providing tools necessary to turn their craft into a business - or manage the business they have. Artists can track and immediately analyze sales, fan demographics, marketing efforts and more. Merchandise and concert ticket sales will also be available in the near future. As Fuzz continues to add new features and form strategic alliances in the entertainment and tech worlds, more and more musicians are finding it a comprehensive place to call “home.”

Fuzz has become promotional grounds for many independent labels and bands as well as major label artists. Artists jumping on board include Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Academy Is, Bright Eyes, Lateef the Truthspeaker and TV on the Radio. Highly influential labels like Modular, Touch and Go, Saddle Creek, Rykodisc and Kill Rock Stars are all utilizing Fuzz to extend their reach and visibility.

The Fuzz community of independent-minded fans allows them to discover, share and buy music (DRM free) in a friendly, interactive forum. In a time of instant mass communication, Fuzz has created a virtual village that encourages music lovers to live in an environment where opinions and discoveries are valued.
