MAYDAY PARADE DEBUTS VIDEO FOR "WHEN I GET HOME YOU'RE SO DEAD" ON MYSPACE TODAY

Mayday Parade's video for "When I Get Home You're So Dead," the first single off their debut disc A Lesson In Romantics premiers on MySpace as a featured video on the homepage. The video was shot in LA and directed by Marco de la Torre (New Found Glory, hellogoodbye).

"I can honestly say that shooting our first music video was one of the coolest, most unreal experiences of my life." explains Mayday Parade lead singer Derek Sanders "I remember just thinking back to when we all first sat down together and talked about forming this band, and then here we were with lights, cameras, and crew all around us. It was a very exciting, overwhelming feeling. We were lucky to be working with Marco, who is such a great guy and amazing director. I really look forward to everyone's reaction to the video."

Fearless Records (The label responsible for Plain White T's) released Mayday Parade's debut full length A Lesson In Romantics this summer. The album is off to a great start as it debuted at #3 on Billboard's Alternative New Artist Chart and #8 on Billboards Heatseeker Chart for the 7/10 release date. Romantics has quickly scanned over 25,000 copies and continues to sell over 1,000 a week. Mayday Parade are a great story...Last year they followed Warped Tour around in their van, played in the parking lot and sold CD's to kids in line (accumulating to 20,000 copies sold of their self-released EP). This year they were actually on Warped Tour and were one of the biggest stories on the tour, with more and more kids freaking out to their live show every day. For those who find themselves guilty of secretly (or openly) liking the All-American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Something Corporate or Taking Back Sunday - Mayday Parade is a band you need to check out ASAP. It's pop goodness at its most polished and most addictive.
