VICE BOOKS TO RELEASE PHOTO RETROSPECTIVE!

For the last 13 years, Vice magazine has been known for showcasing a wide range of provocative, hilarious, and beautiful photography from the most exciting young photographers on this or any other planet. In fact, the photos they've published in Vice could fill a book - a big, luxurious coffee table book... Hey wait a minute! Bet you didn't see this coming, but yes, VICE Books is set to release The Vice Photo Book, a compilation of over a decade of photos from Vice Magazine, this December. This 336-page tome is divided into chapters such as:

THE PHOTOGRAPHERS, which features the work of acclaimed snappers like Terry Richardson, Ryan McGinley, Jerry Hsu, Roe Ethridge and Richard Kern (among 14 others)...
PHOTOJOURNALISM, which is a survey of the global photojournalism (yes, real photojournalism) that Vice has published...
FASHION, containing tons of glossy and weird Vice fashion photography...
MUSIC, in which you'll find intimate, exclusive portraits of our favorite rappers and bands, and...
THE PHOTOS, a massive section containing a museum's worth of the best photos from 13 years of Vice.

A 336-page (10.25" x 13") historical document full of art world heavy hitters, lush fashion, thought-provoking news stories and lots of blood and naked people for only $45?!? Come on. It's a no-brainer holiday gift for your favorite smart/stupid, young/old, girlfriend/boyfriend/best friend/worst enemy. In short, everyone (including your mother) will be discussing the Vice Photo Book over their Christmas roasts this year. Do you really want to not be a part of that conversation?
