Today Solids reveal an intensity-fueled, black and white video for their Blame Confusion album opener, "Over The Sirens". Shot by director Phil Console, the video is available today along with the band's blistering in-studio performance from their recent KEXP session. The videos come in conjunction with the band's announcement of new North American tour dates with Pity Sex and Animal faces. Check out the videos and all upcoming Solids tour dates below.

Riding high on two recent, back-to-back, sold out homecoming gigs at TRH in Montreal, Solids - Xavier Germain-Poitras (guitar) and Louis Guillemette (drums) - announce even more Canadian dates, adding to an almost endless tour schedule that has seen them on the move since the release of their debut record in February. The band will spend almost all of May in the UK (where they play Leeds and the Great Escape Festival) and then head across Europe and Scandinavia. They return home to Canada for a POP Montreal co-presented run of shows in June, stopping at Sled Island along the way. Their uncompromising, critically acclaimed debut album Blame Confusion was released on February 18 via Dine Alone Records.
With a nod to 90's influences like, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr and Superchunk, Solids sublimate their hooky melodies through a wash of distortion and feedback. Blame Confusion was recorded by Adrian Popovich at Mountain City Studio (We Are Wolves, Sam Roberts, The Dears). More information for Solids will be announced soon.
