“The return of Nolan to reinstate the excellent dual vocal harmonies that can only be achieved through his and Lazzara’s distinctive tones has certainly enhanced recent material, but at the music’s core, down-tempo melody driven emotionally charged rock is the starter, main course and dessert.”
– Punktastic

Hopeless Records is happy to announce that Taking Back Sunday’s new album, Happiness Is, has debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top Current Albums and Top 200 Charts, with more than 22,000 copies sold in its first week! It also debuted at #1 on the Record Label Independent Chart, #2 on the LP Chart, and #4 on the Current Alternative, Current Rock, and Overall Rock Charts! The album was released via Hopeless Records and produced by Marc Jacob Hudson (Saves The Day, The Swellers) and Mike Sapone (Brand New, O’Brother). Happiness Is, written over a two-year period with no involvement from a label for the first time since 2002’s debut Tell All Your Friends, drips with the spirit of resilience and innovation.
