“Galantis earn their hype with inspiring Coachella debut” – Dancing Astronaut

The duo’s first self-titled Galantis EP (out now via Big Beat Records) focuses on the art of songwriting from each heart-capturing lyric to the playful melodies– even the drops pack an emotive impact that transcends the dance floor." – Life + Times

In their hands, pop pleasure feels less like a mysterious connection than an undeniable physical truth: water boils into stream, baking soda and vinegar make for a wicked volcano, and synth hooks lodge themselves in listeners’ brains.“ - Time

“If this fresh electronic groove doesn't make you move, you aren't human!” – USA Today

"Galantis sounds like your go-to dance track served shaken, chilled, and definitely on the rocks. "—Refinery29

“it bangs emotionally.” – Stereogum

Following their triumphant live debut at Coachella and the release of their self-titled debut EP on Big Beat Records, Galantis have announced they will release a remix package for “You” on May 26th and have shared a remix by legendary DJ Tiësto from the package.  Listen to “You (Tiësto vs Twoloud Remix)” where it premiered on Life + Times and here. Galantis’ North American tour continues onto DC, Boston, NYC, Chicago, Montreal, and Los Angeles. Dancing Astronaut named them the best debut at Coachella and the Desert Sun said they “let their performance speak for what words could not describe.” Their live show embodies the music’s Olympian sound that unites various branches of electronic music. Don’t miss your chance to see one of the year’s most exciting debuts live! Tickets are available at wearegalantis.com.

The band released the video for “You” earlier this month. The captivating video uses animation and CGI to bring the Seafox, the fantastical animal that is Galantis’ logo, to life for a night on the town with friends and talking about her search for love. Dano Cerny, who also directed the acclaimed “Smile” video for the group, directed “You”. Watch it where it premiered on Stereogum and here.

Galantis’ self-titled EP hit #4 on the iTunes dance chart and was #8 on Shazam’s chart of the most Shazamed songs at Miami Music Week. The band released a song a week leading up to the EP’s release. Galantis is the duo of Christian “Bloodshy” Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw aka Style of Eye. They have been celebrated for their ability to fuse different forms of electronic music into anthemic tracks and their debut EP ‘s kaleidoscopic sound is a testament to their abilities. Their smash single “Smile” starts off the EP. The jubilant track became a dance club staple and has been championed by their peers including Kaskade, Diplo, Tiesto, Dada Life, Steve Angello, and radio legend Pete Tong, who featured it as an Essential Tune. Galantis’ new single “You” follows with a spiraling piano and an instantly memorable vocal hook with the custom “Galantis filter” which blends male and female vocals before the beat explodes to meteoric heights leading up to “Revolution”. Fan favorite “Help” follows and builds a wistful piano melody into an exhilarating anthem of resiliency. “Friend (Hard Times) pairs a stirring soulful vocal with a deep house groove re-imagined for 2014 and beyond.  The pulsating synths and skittering rhythm of “The Heart That I’m Hearing” is the rush at the end of the journey that captures the heart of Galantis.

Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw have individually been celebrated for creating classic pop singles for other artists and their contributions to electronic music. Karlsson is a third of celebrated indie band Miike Snow and one half of production duo Bloodshy & Avant who have helped reinvent pop stars from Madonna to Britney Spears. He co-wrote and produced “Toxic” for Spears for which he won a Best Dance Recording GRAMMY. Eklöw co- wrote and produced Icona Pop’s international No. 1 smash “I Love It” ft. Charli XCX and has left a singular stamp on electronic music, defying genre and releasing work on a diverse swath of iconic labels. After admiring each other from afar, the pair set up a studio on a remote island in the Baltic Sea and Galantis was born.
