Hailing from London, Jacob Plant is quickly becoming a major force in the electronic music scene. His new EP Louder, out today on Dim Mak Records, proves he’s fast becoming a force to be reckoned with, especially after the global success of his remixes of Rihanna's "Diamonds," Calvin Harris' "Need Your Love" and Iggy Azalea's "Work." The 3-track EP features “Louder,” “Radar,” and “Tell Them.”
The title track is a serious party jam with a high-energy wobbling bassline and uplifting big-room breakdown. Jacob Plant ventures into more dub driven trap territory with “Radar,” showing his diverse range as a producer and tastemaker. The melody provides the backbone to the tune, instantly transporting you to a late night in a grimy club. "Tell Them" rounds out the EP with triumphant brass, creating the feeling of an epic closing set.
2014 started off with a bang being dubbed the new "wonder-kid" by Music Week and his Fly Eye release “Shakedown,” and the follow up single “Fire,” supported by Calvin Harris, Knife Party, Sub Focus, Nero, Chase & Status, firmly establishing him as one of the UK’s brightest electro talents.
