Noisey premiered The Faint's new music video for "Evil Voices" from the band's new album Doom Abuse out now via SQE Music. "Evil Voices" is directed by Nik Facklerfrom the band Icky Blossoms that also directed the Sick Birds Die Easy Documentary. The psychedelic video with Nik's vision portrays an alternative cyber-space realm with fast moving neon lights and graphical simulation.
"Nik came to us with an insane video treatment based on a DMT trip he'd had. Meat tubes, violent princesses, futuristic gods and neon rubber souls being excavated from skulls and wrapped around a cogs, it was a no brainer. We were stoked to work with someone who could actually make things like this happen."
The Faint will embark on a national headlining tour that will kick off on April 24th in Des Moines at Wooly's and continue onto major markets including Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and two SOLD OUT shows in Los Angeles. The tour will conclude on June 13th in the band's hometown of Omaha at the Sokol Auditorium. Tickets are available for purchase on The Faint's official website.
