The Fratellis released their highly anticipated new album, We Need Medicine, in October on BMG and, shortly after, made a triumphant return to the road in the US with sold-out shows across the country. The Scottish band’s live show was praised as “a good old rock and roll show that was a damn good time” (WAWSTSF) & as sending “everyone’s hands up in the air and feet off the ground” (JUMP Philly). As summarized by Rukkus, “their ability to command the stage and awe their crowds is incomparable.”
New single “She’s Not Gone Yet But She’s Leaving” finds the band in virgin territory, both musically & stylistically.“It’s a song we have to dance to, and we don’t dance very well,” frontman Jon Fratelli said. “I think it’s a departure from where we were before.”
Fans who weren’t able to catch The Fratellis’ electrifying performances in 2013 will have a handful more chances early this year, as the band has just announced that they will take to the road for a run of dates, including shows inAtlanta, Orlando, Seattle & Toronto.
