NY, NY…Today Santigold premiered the new video for her
anthemic track “The Keepers” from her album Master of My Make-Believe (Downtown/Atlantic).
In the video, Santigold is a member of the idyllic 1950s American family
sitting down to dinner and smiling as the world falls apart around them and the
present reality of the United States comes rushing in. The video was directed
by Nabil and features cameos by GZA, Kick Kennedy, and Trevor Andrew.
Santigold just wrapped up her Spring US tour in support of Master of My Make-Believe. She will be appearing at festivals internationally throughout the summer including Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds. Armed with her hybrid anthems, misfit band, and unstoppable dancers, the SG1s, her singular live shows are always monumental.
