Minus the Bear have announced they will embark
on an coast-to-coast tour of the U.S. this fall, in support of their highly
anticipated studio album, Infinity Overhead, due August
28 on Dangerbird Records. The extensive45-date
tour will kick off on September 10 in Boise,
hit NYC on September 29,Los Angeles on November
9 and culminate with a hometown finale on November 17 in Seattle.
The band will also play Riot Fest in Chicago and Austin's
Fun Fun Fun Fest along the way. Veteran rockers Cursive will
be main support for the entire tour with instrumental post-rock band Caspian opening
the first leg and female-fronted indie rockers Girl In A Coma taking
over duties for the second leg. All shows are on sale now and fans who purchase
a ticket through the band's site MinusTheBear.comwill be sent a free download of a
four-song tour EP highlighting all the artists on the tour. The EP features

Minus the Bear's fifth full-length, Infinity
Overhead, produced by longtime producer and founding member Matt
Bayles, is now available for pre-order. Fans who purchase the album in
advance at MinusTheBear.com will receive a free instant download
of album track "Diamond Lightning," the song
featured in the album teaser and in-studio videos. The band is offering a
variety of pre-sale packages ranging from the deluxe to a simple digital
download. The "Ultimate Book," which is limited to
1,000 copies, will include a 16-page hardcover book containing 180-gram black
vinyl, CD, turntable slipmat, an autographed lithograph as well as an exclusive
t-shirt, 24-bit lossless vinyl rip and a digital download of the album (Apple
