SoCal alt-rockers The Dirty Heads are set to celebrate the release of their top 20 album Cabin By The Sea with a visit to ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, which airs at Midnight in most markets.  The appearance will feature the first-ever nationally televised performance of their hit “Spread Too Thin” from JKL’s famed Bud Light Outdoor StageCabin, which features guest Del the Funky HomosapienKyMani Marley and Rome, andMatisyahu (with whom the band is currently on a co-headline North American tour) was globally released on Five Seven Music on June 19th to fantastic reviews. "It’s not easy to blend hip-hop with beach-minded reggae and rock, but don’t tell that to the five members of The Dirty Heads. Since forming in Huntington Beach in 2003, the ensemble has championed a good vibes approach that has reached its zenith on the forthcoming Cabin By The Sea.” - Desert Star Weekly

Formed in 2003 out of Huntington Beach, CA, The Dirty Heads combine an intriguing mix of hip-hop, reggae and alternative rock with a sunny California swagger.  The band released their debut album, Any Port In A Storm in September of 2008, which features the hit track “Lay Me Down,” a song that spent eleven weeks at #1 on the Billboard alternative chart, more than any single that year by any other artist.  It is an RIAA certified gold single. Rolling Stone touted the ‘Heads as one of the year’s best new bands and they were among the first bands featured on YouTube's Raw Session. The band most recently performed at KROQ’s sold out 20th Annual Weenie Roast y Fiesta in Los Angeles, CA on Cinco de Mayo, which also featured Coldplay, Incubus, Group Love and others.
