MARK DEUTROM Unveils Ridiculously Awesome Animated Video

Austin-based riffologist MARK DEUTROM (ex-Melvins, ex-Clown Alley) has just unveiled an engrossing, trippy animated video for a brand new song. The video for the track "Ruckus Juice" was directed and animated by Jennifer Deutrom and produced by Bob Sabiston of Flatback Films, and besides being simply an incredibly fun visual interpretation of the song, "Ruckus Juice" of course also showcases a bit more of solo artist MARK D's current musical direction.

"Ruckus Juice" will be available for purchase via an upcoming limited edition MARK DEUTROM 12" with more info to be released at a later date.

DEUTROM, after helping found West Coast hardcore act Clown Alley in the early '90s, is most widely known for his time spent in the Melvins in the mid-'90s, having taken a massive role in the creation of their PrickStoner WitchStagHonky and Alive at the Fucker Club albums. He also bears producer credits for massively influential albums including the Melvins' Ozma and Gluey Porch Treatments LPs, RKL's Rock n Roll Nightmare LP, Raw Power's Mine To Kill and TooTough to Burn albums, and Neurosis' almighty 1998 Pain Of Mind release. His most recent solo album The Value of Decay was released digitally via Southern Lord in 2011 followed by a hand-screened 2xLP version via Austrian label Rock Is Hell.
