GRAMMY AWARD WINNER SKRILLEX AND DANCEFLOOR HEAVYWEIGHT AVICII HEADLINE THE INAUGURAL MUSIC LOVES FASHION AT THE RALEIGH HOTEL DURING MIAMI MUSIC WEEK 2012




Global masters of electronica join award-winning hip hop producers for a four-day showcase of international sounds and symposiums in Miami Beach

Today’s most progressive music event producers from Montréal sweep aside the competition during this year’s Miami Music Week with the very first installment of what will prove to shape the future of the electronic music world’s most prestigious week of talent.  Man+Machine Presents MUSIC LOVES FASHION, the inaugural four-day showcase of international sounds from the underground and producer symposiums, taking place between 11:00am and 11:00pm each day from Wednesday, March 21st to Saturday, March 24th at The Raleigh hotel, 1775 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, sponsored by Belvedere Vodka and MOET.

While anticipated to be the highlight of this year’s Miami Music Week, the four-day event series brings together some of the world’s leading DJs and producers, as well as the hip hop industry’s most celebrated studio icons, to offer the most exclusive poolside events and music panel experiences for today’s discerning music enthusiast.  The week kicks-off on Wednesday, March 21st at 11:00am with the I ¤ AVICII Pool Party in association with At Night, ULTRA Pool and Ash Alliance, featuring an opening set by CAZZETTE AND FRIENDS, followed by hours of blissful tunes by the Swede himself.  With worldwide hit singles like Bromance and My Feelings For You plus hit remixes of Tiësto, Robyn, David Guetta and Bob Sinclar, Avicii has exploded on to the scene over the last two years. The Owsla Miami poolside party on Thursday, March 22nd, starting at 11:00am and presented by No Sugar Added, features the emerging electronic visionary and highly acclaimed Grammy Winner, SKRILLEX, amongst other supporting acts. “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites” became the first Skrillex release on Atlantic/Big Beat Records, in conjunction with fellow electronic revolutionary Deadmau5’s freshly minted Mau5trap record label. Following its release on Beatport, the 9-song EP dominated the charts, with the title track claiming the site's number one slot (the first ever #1 dubstep track), 8 songs breaking into the top 10, and multiple tracks claiming number one slots on several of the site’s subgenre charts, including Dubstep, Electro House and Progressive House.

For aspiring hip hop music moguls and also taking place on Thursday, March 22nd, starting at 1:00pm, Grammy Award winning producer Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels presents The Miami Music Week “1Direction Producer Symposium.”  1Direction is a motivational experience for producers and songwriters who are looking to take their careers to the next level and learn from the best in the business.  Matthew ‘Boi-1da’ Samuels and co-host, Tyler ‘T-Minus’ Williams, invite producers, song writers, managers and musicians to the two-day event, featuring music industry guests on multiple panels with established music producers on both days.  Producers will have the opportunity to pre-submit their own tracks for a chance to be judged by the panelists and enter into the Producers Competition for a chance to win a private studio session with producers Boi-1da and T-Minus, and a production/management contract with Man+Machine.  Two-day tickets (March 22/23) for the 1Direction Producer Symposium are priced at $250 and can be purchased through www.musiclovesfashion.com <http://www.musiclovesfashion.com.

The afternoon of Friday, March 23rd, starting at 1:00pm, brings day two of The Miami Music Week “1Direction Producer Symposium” presented Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels. Attendees will experience a continuation of in-depth panel discussions with a new group of industry experts hosting “The Business of Beats Panel,” “The Grind Panel” and the “Man+Machine Panel.”

Saturday, March 24th is the grand finale and culmination of Music Loves Fashion 2012. Man+Machine develops a newly created brand of event under the title of “UNANNOUNCED.”  The event will feature a globally revered DJ, producer or live act considered to be one of the world’s most distinguished and prolific. The closing headline act will remain Unannounced and will only be revealed when doors open at 11:00am on Saturday morning, among wide speculation and inevitable leaks. Additional supporting acts will be on the bill throughout the final day, and the guest list will be very strict.
