Psychostick announce "The Blood, Guts, and Sprinkles Tour"

Wrapping up their "'Merica F*ck Yeah Tour'" this week w/ Dog Fashion Disco and The Bunny The Bear, Psychostick are taking a break in July to reboot and get back on the road for a three-week "The Blood, Guts, and Sprinkles Tour" in August with One Eyed Doll and Wild Throne. The band will be premiering upcoming material on the tour from their forthcoming fan-funded album to follow up 2011's comedic adventure "Space Vampires VS Zombie Dinosaurs in 3-D."

Guitarist Josh "The J" Key explains: "The fan-funded studio we finished building is working out better than cheese on a nacho! We've been recording our new album, which we feel tops our last release ("Space Vampires VS Zombie Dinosaurs in 3-D"), so we have some new songs that we've been dying to play for people. We have still have many hands to shake and people to thank for donating to our successful Indiegogo campaign for our new recording studio / album."

About:
Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey and guitarist Josh “The J” Key joined forces with drummer Alex “Shmalex” Dontre and bassist  Matty J “Moose” to create Pyschostick, a band they've coined as humorcore. With hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band has caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.

Almost 100 percent do-it-yourself, Psychostick never strays from its signature sound, a combination of heavy music that Chimaira, Machine Head, and Hatebreed would be proud of, and wit and humor that would make Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovic holler with laughter. With three full-length albums behind them – “We Couldn’t Think of a Title,” “Sandwich,” and their holiday album, “The Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride” - the band released their latest record, “Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D,” in 2011, following it up with a tour with Mushroomhead to add to their total count of 21 nationwide tours that have hit 47 states.

After a successful 2013 that saw these touring ninja warriors hit the road for multiple shows on the "Our Tour Can Beat Up Your Tour," "Blow Your Fingers Off" summer tour, their late summer dates with American Head Charge plus appearances at summer fests that included Rockapalooza, A2 Fest, Breast Fest Biker Bash, and Dirtfest.  The band finally took a break in last months of the year and held a successful crowd funding campaign (thank you video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSeQHqMCfJI), where they are now currently in studio recording their follow up to 2011's "Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D."
